1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, so that it can recognise your device on later visits. Similar technologies exist too. Local storage, pixels and fingerprinting serve comparable purposes.
2. Cookies used by this website
None. This website writes no cookies of its own and loads no analytics or advertising scripts. This is a deliberate design choice:
- the fonts are served from this website itself, not from a third-party network;
- episode videos are not embedded on page load. Only a static preview image is shown;
- there is no form, no login and no session to remember.
Because no non-essential technology is loaded before any action of yours, this website does not need a consent banner.
3. Third-party cookies after your click
If you click the play button on an episode, the video player is loaded from
YouTube and at that point YouTube may set its own cookies on your device.
This happens only as a result of your explicit action. We use the
youtube-nocookie.com domain, which limits tracking as far as
the platform allows, but we do not control what YouTube does.
The same applies if you follow a link to Spotify, YouTube, Amazon Music, Instagram or TikTok: from that moment you are on their service, subject to their cookie policies.
4. How to control cookies
Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its settings, usually under "Privacy". Blocking third-party cookies does not affect this website, but it may prevent embedded video players from working.
5. Changes to this policy
If we add analytics, a newsletter form or any other third-party technology, this policy will be updated before that change goes live, and a consent banner will be introduced where the law requires one.
